Heaps of weapons and ammunition seized in Chechnya

32 people have been detained on suspicion of being involved in illegal armed units in the course of a special raid in Chechen country town Tsatsan-Yurt carried out by federal militia forces. 25 underground mini-workshops have been found, 70kg of plastid, over 3,500 5.45mm- cartridges, 18 RGD-grenades, 31 F1-grenades, 16 shots for the VOG-25 grenade launcher, 13 shots for the VOG-17 grenade launcher, two120mm mines. Also found was equipment for a field hospital, 100kg of various medicines, 119 stretchers, a complete set of surgical equipment. Mini-workshops and ammunition were liquidated on site by blowing up. Apart from it, several secret recesses were found containing again large quantities of ammunition, 92 shells for armoured vehicles, land mines, etc., Interfax reports.
