Natalia Zaharova goes on hunger-strike in France

Russian citizen, an actress Natalia Zaharova has lost a hope that the authorities will ever help her and went on hunger-strike in France. She wrote about it in letters she addressed to Russian and France presidents, as well as to the governments of both countries. Zaharova strives for the permission to take her daughter, 5-year old Masha Zaharova, home. However the court is not to decide in her favour. Natalia Zaharova claims that she went on hunger-strike because French authorities had failed to bring her daughter back to her in a month after Vladimir Putin’s visit to France. During his visit to France the Russian President, talking to the France President Jacques Chirac raised a question of Masha Zaharova returning to her mother, “Ria-Novosti” announces. “But the French authorities still haven’t done anything for it”, - Natalia Zaharova said.
