Yevgeny Kiselyov, the NTV's general director, told the Russian newspaper "Obshaya Gazeta" that "we don't have to exaggerate with influence" that a foreign investor might have on NTV television channel. According to an agreement between Russian gas giant "Gazprom" and Gusinsky's media empire "Media-MOST", 25% of Media Company must be sold to a foreign investor through the mediation of the Deutsche Bank. Kiselyov said that they are ready to hand over to the Deutsche Bank the right to choose a candidate. He also noted that they could "propose their own candidate but not thrust it", Allnews.ru reports. "Foreign investors are coming to make business but not to influence", Kiselyov emphasized. The NTV's head noted that the name of the future partner would be kept secret until the contract is signed.
