According to preliminary data of the State Committee for investigation the reasons of the catastrophe the aircraft appears to have deviated from its usual flight path, and it caused the accident, said the head of the committee Sergey Ivanov. He also said that both the crew and the flying control officer failed to determine the location of the plane. According to the information given by the “black boxes” of the plane the pilot tried to avoid the clash with the mountain but it was too late. It is established that neither fire nor explosion took place on board before the clash, “RIA “Novosti” reports. But Ivanov stressed that it is not time to speak about the responsibility or guilt of some persons yet.
