SOME MORE PHRASES FROM KOLESNIKOV’S NOTE MADE PUBLIC

An earlier unpublished excerpt of the note written by Lieutenant Commander Dmitri Kolesnikov whose body was found in the 8th compartment of the nuclear submarine Kursk is currently presented in the Admiralty Hall in St. Petersburg where parting with the deceased is being held, NTV television channel reports. No end of people is lining up to the coffin beside which a poster is being displayed with an earlier unknown fragment of the sailor’s note. It reads as follows. “15:45. Here, it is dark to write. But I will try to by feeling… Looks like no chances left. About 10%-20%. Let us hope anyone at all will read it. Here are personnel lists of the compartments. Some are in 9th and will try to come out. Cheer up, everybody. Do not give way to despair.”
