KLEBANOV MAKES IT CLEAR ABOUT “KURSK”

Today, Russia’s vice-premier Ilya Klebanov, who heads the commission probing into the “Kursk” submarine disaster, said the sailors’ bodies are sure to be recovered from the “Kursk”. Commenting on the likelihood of the operation to be cancelled (which is not ruled out by military sources) Mr. Klebanov emphasized that the it was “not the point.” In his words, the operation, which should initially have started this week, is now being put off due to unfavourable weather conditions until Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
