A terrorist act prevented in the Southern Russian town of Budyonnovsk

A terrorist act was prevented in Budyonnovsk on Tuesday, the press-service of the Federal security service reported. At 14-00, an anonymous caller informed the town police that the bomb was planted in the Prikumsk hotel. Operatives immediately arrived at the site and confirmed the report. The explosive device was safely taken out of town and destroyed. The investigators do not exclude the possibility of connection between this event and Friday blasts in Pyatigorsk and Nevinnomyssk, RIA-Novosti informs.
