The Duma, Russian parliament, has adopted a resolution calling on the West to stop all forms of pressure on Yugoslavia and to lift economic sanctions without delay. The document has been adopted unanimously. In particular, it reads that in the run-up to presidential elections Yugoslavia came under an unprecedented pressure from outside with the use of political and economic arguments, and even NATO’s armed forces, Interfax reports.
