Russia's Central Bank is going to pay off 2.7 billion dollars to the International Monetary Fund /IMF/ by the end of this year, thereby fully settling its debt. Vice premier and finance minister Alexei Kudrin said as much Friday. In his words, thus Russia's debt to the IMF will be reimbursed ahead of schedule. Today, the Central Bank has already transferred 1 billion dollars to this end.
