Israeli troops shoot Palestinian boy

He was walking past a checkpoint on the Egyptian border when Israeli soldiers opened fire on him, wounding him in the leg. He was taken to hospital, where sources confirmed that there had been no act of provocation by the boy.

Meanwhile, Israeli security forces attacked a civilian camp at Khan Younes, Gaza, also without any apparent reason. Heavy weapons were used in the attack which did not cause victims.
