A Jewish cultural centre opens in an old residence in Moscow's centre on Tuesday. Many famous figures of culture agreed to join its artistic council. The centre is to become a place of gatherings of representatives of creative, scientific and political elite. "We hope that the Jewish cultural centre will become a creative laboratory of artists of different trends and spheres," Marina Smelyanskaya, the centre's director, told a RIA Novosti correspondent.
