Finance Ministry makes early repayment to IMF
The Russian Finance Ministry made an early payment to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today for January 2003. The Finance Ministry transferred $121.54m to the IMF in an installment to offset the principal. As the Finance Ministry reported to RosBusinessConsulting, the installment was paid in two currencies: $27.177m and EUR91.166m. According to the schedule, this installment was due on January 5, 2003.
