Central Bank rules morning trading session

The weighted average dollar exchange rate remained unchanged at RUR 31.57by the end of this morning's trading session. Currency analysts linked thisfact to dollar sales by the Central Bank. They reported that the CentralBank was selling dollars at RUR 31.57, which resulted in an unchangedweighted average dollar rate. In addition, some experts believe that theBank was not only influencing the dollar rate but also the trade volume atthe UTS.
