Two cyclones are raging near Kamchatka coastline

Two strong cyclones approached Kamchatka coastline on Saturday.

According to information received from Kamchatka Interregional Department of Hydrometeorology and Natural Environment Monitoring, the closest cyclone developed in the Sea of Japan. Air masses move in the northeast direction with speeds of up to 30 km/hour.

In the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, Yelizovski and Ust-Bolsheretski regions heavy precipitation is under way. Icy conditions of roads, winds increased to 15-20 meters per second. Storm advisory is in force.

In the region's center, vehicles move with speeds not more than 30 km/hour.

On Sunday, a second cyclone - more powerful than the first -- is expected to hit the coastline from the side facing the islands of Japan. This cyclone is also moving in the northeast direction with the speed of 50 km/hour.

Meteorologists forecast heavy rains and stormy winds with speeds of up to 25-30 meters per second.
