Consideration of Kosmicheskaya Svyaz suit filed against NTV company postponed

The Moscow Arbitration Court has postponed the consideration of a suit filed by the Kosmicheskaya Svyaz enterprise against the NTV company till April 28. The court examination has been postponed because of the need to correct the wording of the peaceful agreement. In mid-March the state unitary enterprise Kosmicheskaya Svyaz appealed to the court to proceed against NTV for recovery of debt in the amount of about USD 1.6 million for using a space communications channel. However, at the first session of the court on April 9 both sides, the plaintiff and defendant, spoke for settling the argument not by legal means. The sides agreed to conclude a peaceful agreement and asked the court to postpone consideration of the suit till the agreement is concluded. Upon the plaintiff's petitioning the consideration of the suit on Monday proceeded behind closed doors, journalists were out.
