Explosion Goes Off At Market In Vladikavkaz

The explosion at the Faloi clothing market in Vladikavkaz (the Northern Ossetia, a North Caucasian republic within Russia) claimed 4 lives and left 43 wounded on November 10. The data was obtained at 1:15 p.m. Moscow time. The Russian Emergencies Ministry reported that all the wounded had been rushed to the republican hospital in Vladikavkaz. Rescue units, police and secret agents, as well as fire brigades, ambulances and medics from the Catastrophe Medical Centre are currently working on the scene. The police report that a gas container explosion went off at about 11:30-11:40 a.m. Moscow time. The cause of the incident is now being investigated. The Russian Federal Security Service excludes the possibility of a terrorist act.
