Nizhny Novgorod Governor to develop ties with Japanese investors

Nizhny Novgorod Governor Valery Shantsev will have a meeting with President of Daido Metal Co., Mr. Seigo Hanji. At the meeting, the head of the region and the investor will discuss the development plans of the corporation in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

According to NewsRoom24 portal, Daido Metal Co. is the world leader in the production of bearings. The sales volumes of the company in 2011 amounted to about $801.3 million. The holding has 17 factories in 13 countries of the world that employ about 3,800 people.

In Russia, the company is represented by Daido Metal Russia, based in the town of Zavolzhye of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The company is the largest supplier of bearings for assembly lines in Russia and the CIS. There are about 600 employees working at the company. The investments in the development of production made up 200 million rubles ($6.250,000).
