Russia has biggest number of women-bosses?

In Russia about 90 percent of women are ready to become company executives.
Then Philippines follow with 85 percent of women–potential bosses. The USA holds the third position – 75 percent of women-leaders.

These are the data from the survey conducted by Grant Tornton consulting company.

Other countries have not so many women with leadership skills. The smallest number of women-leaders is in Japan – eight percent, Reuters reports.

There are several reasons for this. Lack of experience in business administration, keeping a woman out of informal croup of men-colleagues. Besides, there are plenty of  stereotypes and prejudices preventing women from being leaders at work.

Meanwhile, women-bosses bring success to their companies, say the experts of Catalyst consulting company. They estimated the companies’ performance on the basis of two indicators: profit made of the property belonging to the business and total profit of shareholders. For the firms where women are CEOs, these figures were 35 percent bigger than in the companies run by men.
