A meeting of Vladimir Putin and Taria Halonen, Presidents of Russia and Finland, will take place in St. Petersburg on October 5. According to Finnish President's chancellery, discussed will be issues pertaining to bilateral cooperation and pressing international problems, including that of assuring visa-free transit for Russian citizens between the Kaliningrad Region and mainland Russia after Poland and Lithuania join the European Union.
