Colombia and Venezuela recalled their ambassadors from Caracas and Bogota because of a crisis on the border of two countries.
Venezuela declared that it would close the border in the State of Táchira for 72 hours, but President Maduro ordered to extend the closure for an indefinite term and declared a state of emergency for 60 days.
Before that, three military men of the Venezuelan Armed Forces had been injured by smugglers and the Venezuelan authorities had deported over a thousand of the Colombians.
The President of Colombia Juan Manuel Santos noted: "I have favoured dialogue and diplomacy and I will keep doing so, but I cannot allow Venezuela to treat Colombia and Colombians this way."
