Woman drives her SUV onto Red Square to please foreigner
A female Muscovite drove onto Red Square on her Suzuki Grand Vitara at night to giver her fellow foreigner a tour of the square, the press service of the Moscow police said.
As it became known, overnight Tuesday, patrol police officers detained an SUV on Red Square, driven by a 33-year-old employee of a commercial firm. The woman explained that she wanted to show the beauty of the square to a foreign colleague of hers, who came from Finland.
Traffic police wrote a report on administrative offense under the Administrative Code "Driving on bicycle lanes, walking paths or sidewalks in violation of traffic rules."
