Robert Redford Marries Sibylle Szaggars in Germany

Robert Redford married artist Sibylle Szaggars on Saturday evening in Hamburg, Germany, in front of 30 family and friends, it has been confirmed.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Pastor Frank Engelbrecht of Hamburg's St. Catherine Church, said the couple "wanted a very intimate ceremony," People Magazine reports.

Reuters reports the couple of over ten years got hitched this past weekend at the Louis C. Jacob Hotel, located in the city of Hamburg, hometown of Szaggars. It was a small, intimate ceremony with around 30 guests attending. The bride, 51, reportedly wore a champagne-colored dress while Redford, 72, sported a white suit. The ceremony was conducted in German according to EW.com, TheCelebrityCafe.com reports.

Hotel officials declined to comment. Newspaper Bild has offered 10,000-euro ($14,000) for the first picture of the wedding and said it would publish it on its front page.

Redford's New York representative could not be reached immediately for comment, Reuters reports.

This is the second marriage for Redford, 72, who divorced Lola Van Wagenen in 1985 after 27 years of marriage, Seattle Post Intelligencer reports.
