Miss Universe will come to Russia

In July Oksana Fyodorova will come to Russia. She will not stay here long – Miss Universe 2002 has a lot of things to do. After the short visit to her fatherland, Oksana will travel to Kenya, Italy and Greece. “The goal of my tour is to attract more attention to such issues as AIDS, homeless children, because these problems are very serious in my country too. I will do my best in order to assist in their solution, at least somehow. Everyone wants to say something, and he or she knows what to say, but not everyone can be heard. I have a very good opportunity for that at the moment, I think,” – Oksana said.

It is absolutely not clear, whose children Oksana wants to attract attention to – maybe Kenyan, but what Russian kids got to do with it? Maybe Oksana wants to attract attention to Russian children, but why is she leaving for Kenya then?

The same thing is with girl’s other statements. She said that she would not quit her service in police and finish her work for Doctor’s degree. She acknowledged that there was so much work to be done, but she added that she was sure to cope with it.

The girl wants to know more about American culture, when she tours New York, she wants to visit museums and the most famous places of the city, “maybe I will have a chance to go to other American cities.” She will probably study at television and cinema school of New York for the allowance that was paid to Miss Universe. She said that she could start studying right now, but there was not enough time for that.

As it always happens, beautiful girl’s statements are supposed to be contradictory, strange, and illogical. Russian people called her a lot of times, when she was in New York, but they could not reach her. Oksana says that she hopes to listen to kind words from those people, who failed to say them, when she was in the States. She believes that her personal victory was Russia’s victory too.
