Fourth Russian humanitarian convoy reaches Ukraine's Donetsk and Luhansk

 

The column of trucks with the fourth batch of Russian humanitarian aid to residents of Ukraine's Donbass passed customs control procedures without any problems on Friday morning, October 31. The convoy traveled through the territory of Ukraine before it finally arrived to Luhansk and Donetsk. The convoy of about 100 trucks of the Russian EMERCOM, carrying about 1,000 tons of humanitarian cargo, divided into two parts after crossing the border.

About 50 trucks arrived in Luhansk, TASS reports. The trucks brought food and construction materials. The goods were distributed between warehouses.

The other part of the convoy arrived in Donetsk. The trucks carry canned fish and meat products, as well as other types of food. Warehouse workers and volunteers came to unload the trucks. Another column of vehicles is expected to arrive from Russia soon. The vehicles will bring glass and other construction materials to repair houses in Donetsk.
