British Officials To Lay Wreaths In London To Monument To Soviet Citizens Killed In World War Ii

On Sunday, the British will lay wreaths to London's monument to Soviet citizens killed in World War II. Conceived as one of the items on the program of Britain's Commemoration Day, the ceremony is due on the grounds of the Imperial Military Museum. Taking part in the wreath-laying ceremony will be local authorities, public representatives, and staff of the Russian Embassy to Great Britain. On the same day, Britain will observe two minutes' silence in memory of its countrymen that perished in the two world wars and in regional conflicts. On this day, the British will also commemorate the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks in the USA, announced a British Royal Legion official in charge of veteran activities.
