Afghanistan: suicide car bomber attacks coalition convoy wounding 2 boys

A U.S. military spokesman said the attack damaged one coalition vehicle.

The attack took place about one kilometer (less than a mile) outside Bagram Air Field, the main U.S. military base in Afghanistan, Ahmed said.

Two Afghan boys ages 12 and 16 riding by on a bicycle were wounded, said Mohammed Saber, a Transportation Ministry employee who said he witnessed the attack. The two were in stable condition, said district police official Mohammed Muqol, according to the AP.
