Czech President Vaclav Klaus arrived Tuesday for a three-day official visit to Estonia to discuss bilateral issues and promote trade between the two countries.
Klaus, accompanied by a business delegation, is scheduled to meet with his Estonian counterpart Arnold Ruutel and Prime Minister Andrus Ansip. Later Tuesday, he will meet Toomas Varek, the speaker of the Estonian parliament, tour Tallinn's popular Old Town and visit its busy harbor.
On Wednesday, Klaus will open a Czech-Estonian business seminar and give a speech at the Tallinn University of Technology. Before going back on Thursday morning, he is set to tour the southeastern Laane-Viru county.
It is the first visit by Czech head of state to Estonia for more than a decade, reports the AP.
