Russia's Foreign Ministry said Wednesday that the next round of the six-party talks on North Korea's nuclear weapons program could begin Nov. 7.
"According to the information we have, the possibility is being considered of opening the fifth round of the six-party talks in a week, beginning Nov. 7," the ministry said in a brief statement.
Resumption of the talks in November has been widely expected, but no indication of dates had emerged. The talks also involve South Korea, the United States, Japan and China, the AP reports. A.M.
