Iraqi prime-minister - next target for insurgents

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the mastermind of beheadings and bombings has threatened to assassinate Iraq's prime minister. Earlier on Wednesday U.S. officials claimed that an airstrike against a hideout of the al-Qaida-linked militant in Fallujah killed up to 20 of his followers

Militants focused their anger on Prime Minister Iyad Allawi and his government the latest sign that the campaign of insurgent violence against the U.S. occupation is unlikely to end with the June 30 handover of power.

"As for you [Iyad] Allawi, you didn't know that you have survived already traps we made for you, but we promise you that we will continue the game until the end," Abu Musab al-Zarqawi said in the online recording.

Earlier this week his henchmen beheaded Korean citizen Mr. Kim Sun-il. Al-Zarqawi's group has also claimed responsibility for the beheading of American hostage Nicholas Berg last month.
