IMF delegation to help prevent money laundering in Belarus

A delegation of the IMF (International Monetary Fund) began work in Minsk yesterday as part of a project to provide assistance to Belarus. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed by Press Secretary for the National Bank of Belarus Mikhail Zhuravovich, Belarus invited the IMF delegation to Minsk to provide assistance in the 'struggle against money laundering and the financing of terrorism.' The IMF delegation intends to meet representatives of Belarussian banks and discuss their experience in 'preventing money laundering.'
