Russian secret services help to cut short activity of counterfeiters' group in Bulgaria

The activity of an international organised group of counterfeiters has been cut short in Bulgaria with an active involvement of the Main Department for Combating Organised Crime of the Russian Interior Ministry. This was disclosed Tuesday by Yuri Demidov, first deputy chief head of the Main Department for Combating Organised Crime, who held a meeting with journalists.

According to him, the main shop of the group was discovered in Varna where three counterfeiters were detained.

During the search 1 million of faked US dollars, a plate for faked euro manufacture, as well as false visas were confiscated.

Then two active participants of the group were detained in Russia, Demidov reported. An investigation is currently underway.
