Customs services of Russia and Finland strengthening cooperation

Chairman of the Russian State Customs Committee Mikhail Vanin and Director General of the Customs Department of the Republic of Finland Tapani Erling will conduct negotiations to consider the prospects of customs cooperation between the two countries.

The information service of the Finnish customs service reports that the negotiations will take place on July 4th and 5th in the Laplandian village of Utsioki which is situated beyond the polar circle at the Finnish-Norwegian border.

Summing up the negotiations the heads of the customs services of Russia and Finland are expected to sign a communique on mutual understanding in the realisation of the Tadim international programme which is aimed at speeding up export-import operations between Russia and Finland.
