Moscow Satisfied With Development Of Its Relations With New Zealand

Opening negotiations with his New Zealand counterpart, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov declared Monday that Moscow was satisfied with the progress in its relations and dialogue with New Zealand. According to Ivanov, the visit by Foreign Minister Philip Goff of New Zealand and his coming negotiations with Russian government officials will make it possible to outline prospects for the relations between Russia and New Zealand. In his turn, the visiting Foreign Minister of New Zealand noted that good-neighbourly relations between the two countries boasted a long history.
