All the Kosovo parties and associations except the Serbian coalition For Return have already submitted lists of their candidates for the coming parliamentary elections in the region. But the Central Election Commission decided to prolong the submission terms for this coalition. Head of OSCE mission in Kosovo Daan Everts heads the Central Election Commission. OSCE mission press secretary Claire Trevena said parties and associations to participate in the November 17 elections nominated 1282 candidates (without the coalition For Return), RIA Novosti correspondent reports. All in all, 120 deputies are to be elected to the parliament with 20 seats reserved for representatives of the Serbs and other non-Albanian ethnic groups. News came from Pristina that about 6,000 local observers - parties' and non-government organisations' representatives were to control the elections. The OSCE sets up 1,600 polling stations, the central Election Commission said.
