American B-52 bombers, which participated in the Sunday night air strikes at Afghanistan, dropped several hundred 200-kg conventional air bombs on terrorist training camps of Osama bin Laden situated in the eastern Afghanistan, the Washington Post reported referring to sources in the US Department of Defence. According to the same sources, 50 cruise missiles were also launched in the course of the air strikes.
