A Russian-American Meeting Concerning Russia's Entry Into The WTO Will Take Place Till The End Of This Year

Washington firmly supports Moscow's intention to enter the World Trade Organisation. Russian Minister of Economic Development German Gref and US representative at trade negotiations Robert Zoellick will meet till the end of this year to discuss this problem. The press service of the White House has issued this information as an official material of the Vladimir Putin - George W. Bush summit. In the first quarter of 2002, the USA, together with other member-countries of the WTO, will start working on the report about the candidature of Russia. At the beginning of the next year, the Russian and American WTO expert groups will meet to continue bilateral negotiations on this matter, says the information.
