Italy's Prime Minister To Visit Moscow In 2002 First Half

In the first half of 2002, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi will pay a full-format visit to Russia, Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov reported on Tuesday at a meeting in Moscow with his Italian opposite number Renato Ruggero. According to the chief of the Russian foreign policy establishment, Renato Ruggero's Moscow upcoming visit is an evidence of dynamically developing relations between the two countries. The Russian foreign minister said that Moscow and Rome "are actively developing their political dialogue".
