Russian President Vladimir Putin is satisfied with the way Russian-Polish relations are developing. Putin said this as opening a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Leszek Miller in the Kremlin. Vladimir Putin congratulated Miller on a convincing victory in the recent election in Poland. The President expressed hope that Leszek Miller's election to the post of Prime Minister will greatly influence the Russian-Polish relations. Putin and his Polish counterpart Aleksander Kwasniewski have done a lot recently, the Russian President said. According to him, the trade turnover between the two countries has reached 5.5 billion dollars for the first time over the past ten years.
