Russian, Israeli Foreign Ministers Meet In Bucharest

Russian and Israeli foreign ministers Igor Ivanov and Shimon Peres are meeting in Bucharest, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports. Before this meeting, the Russian foreign minister talked with US Secretary of State Colin Powell about the current developments in the Middle East. Igor Ivanov acknowledged that Russia was concerned about this issue. According to Ivanov, the Middle East confrontation has reached a critical point and our task is to prevent the worst scenario from happening. Russia and the United States have agreed to coordinate their efforts in this direction.
