The US military killed one of the leaders of the terrorist group ISIS* Maher al-Agal in Syria, according to the Central Command of the US Armed Forces.
According to the Pentagon, he oversaw the activities of ISIS * in Syria and was one of the four main leaders of the group in the world.
His accomplice, whose name has not been released, is seriously injured.
The U.S. military says the strike caused no civilian casualties.
According to the statement, al-Agal was active in the development of ISIS* structures outside of Iraq and Syria.
