The Saudi Arabian hesitation to invade Yemen may be explained with the fact that their army is completed with the hired Yemeni soldiers. It is hardly probable that they will be destructing their own country and killing their relatives.
Moreover, the jet pilots are represented by Pakistanis, while Jordanians can start a ground campaign.
Egypt is also ready to send its military, which appeared to be unable to suppress revolt against Al Sisi.
The fact that Yemen is a food aid dependent country facilitates execution of the task for the joint army. 90 per cent of the food have always been imported. The Saudis have already taken advantage of it and cut the supplies as well as started bombing major grain depots.
Thus, unless the Yemeni cannon fodder is used to invade the country, its citizens can starve to death.
