Sixty men whipped for picking up women in Saudi Arabia

Sixty men have been whipped the Saudi capital Er Riyad for picking up women.

According to the Islamic legislation, such actions are treated as public moral violations. The punishment was performed at ten police stations, whose territories of which the immorality occurred. The men accused of immorality for the first time received 15 whips each, and the repeat offenders were given 30 whips each.

In addition, men detained for picking up women in the United Arab Emirates have to pay for the publication of materials about their own actions in the local press. Their pictures are attached to the articles as well.
