The International Labour Organisation /ILO/ intends to submit a draft strategy seeking to reduce poverty in the country, to the government in November. The draft contains recommendations on cutting the number of people consigned to poverty, Rimma Kalinichenko, the coordinator of the ILO projects, said Friday. The document analyses the social and demographic compound of the poor citizens and factors increasing the risk of poverty. Among the latter, experts single out unemployment, excessive differentiation of wages, imperfect legislation. The ILO experts believe that the general economic situation in the country is favourable for implementing the strategy.
