The Giant-4 barge with the nuclear-powered Kursk submarine under its bottom is being prepared to be installed in the docks, reports Vice Admiral Mikhail Barskov, deputy commander-in-chief of the Navy on armaments. The complex is to be lifted 3.2 metres up to reach the draught mark of 13.75 metres presumably at midnight. Then, divers are to examine the system to see whether it is prepared for being mounted in the docks of the Roslyakovo shipyards. At 6:00 a.m. local time this Saturday, the Giant-4 platoon will be prepared for unmooring in the Belokamenka bay to head them toward the docks. According to Mikhail Barskov, the dock operation to begin approximately at 9:00 a.m. will last for 133 hours being detailed as to every minute and name.
