The North Caucasus department of the Russian prosecutor general's office has completed an investigation into the case of six bandits of the Basayev gang, who attacked Budyonnovsk /the Stavropol Territory, south of Russia/ on June 14, 1995. Deputy prosecutor general of the southern federal district Vladimir Rudyak said as much Wednesday. In his words, the bandits of Shamil Basayev's gang are charged with taking hostages, with terrorism, banditry, illegal arms and ammunition storage. Besides, one of them is accused of paramilitary activities. The criminal case against the six bandits comprises 600 files, which will be considered by the Stavropol court, according to preliminary information. Sitting on the bench will be Chechen natives Mairbek Adamov, Khasan Betsiyev, Obusalakh Turayev, Isa Dukayev, Borz-Ali Aslan Kadirov and Husein Mitalayev. The deputy prosecutor general recalled that another four members of the Basayev gang were already tried for the terrorist attack on Budyonnovsk.
