Bear Found in Moscow Apartment Building

A bear that was found in the basement of an apartment building on Thursday, was a big shock for a lot of people that live in Festival Street of Moscow. As the Moscow Rescue Service informed, a man, who lived in the 16-storeyed apartment building was passing the building by and looked into a small basement window. To his great horror, the man saw a living bear sitting in the basement.

The bear was a very small one. However, it did not stop the lodgers from panicking. They called the police and rescue services. When rescuers entered the basement, they saw a little bear, which looked like a tamed animal. The bear was neat and clean, and it was wearing a collar. When rescuers tried to approach the little bear, it started roaring with anger.

As it turned out later, there was no need to worry about anything. It was determined that the bear belonged to someone, who lived in the building. The animal’s owner was a photographer. He said that photographing people with that little bear was his way of earning his living. The man said that he also had a little monkey for that purpose.

On Thursday the photographer had to leave his home, but he did not want to leave the little bear alone in his apartment. The man found a basement key and put the bear there. He thought that nothing would happen for a couple of hours. The man thought it wrong. The animal’s owner showed police officers all necessary documents and took the bear home.
