Moscow to host third festival of French music

Moscow will host "Alexander the Third Bridge" festival of French music for the third time from October 2nd to 16th.

Alexander Brusilovsky is the organizer of the festival. He is a prize-winner of a great number of international contests and has been a citizen of Paris since 1985. The first festival was devoted to the opening ceremony of Alexander the Third Bridge in Paris and that is why the festival got the name.

The programme of the festival differs from traditional festival programmes, first of all, because musical compositions presented are new. Compositions of such prominent composers as, for instance, Saint Saens, Ravel, Debussy, Poulenc, as well as compositions of unpopular Olivier Greif, Charles Chen and Kaufmann and others will be performed. Concerts will take place in the Moscow Conservatoire, Armory and Patriarch's Chamber in the Kremlin, as well as in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and Chaikovsky Concert Hall.
