The German court conducts a trial of a 91-year-old woman accused of complicity to the murder of 260,000 prisoners at the Auschwitz concentration camp, which was located in the territory of Poland.

According to the Schleswig-Holstein's prosecutors, the woman served as a radio operator in the concentration camp since April to July 1944. The alleged Nazi criminal assisted in the systematic murders of the Jews, that were brought from all over the Europe.

Today, in Germany in order to prove guilt of a suspect Nazi criminal it is sufficient to have evidence on "indirect involvement" in the murders. The precedent was created after the Ukrainian John (Ivan) Demjanjuk was convicted of complicity to murder of 28,000 people.
