Guta Bank to be bought by Vneshtorgbank

Shareholders of Guta Bank have accepted a proposal of the Central Bank regarding the buying of Guta Bank by Vneshtorgbank, the press service of Guta Bank reported. Within the framework of this decision, Guta Bank is making every possible effort to complete this deal as soon as possible because it will positively affect the situation on the banking market in general.

The Central Bank is ready to allocate a credit to Vneshtorgbank for buying Guta Bank against government securities that Vneshtorgbank has, Central Bank Chairman Sergey Ignatyev declared today. The Central Bank is currently holding negotiations with representatives of the two banks.
