Rosneft might buy 30 enterprises in Russia

The oil company Rosneft is studying the possibility of buying about 30 enterprises in the oil and gas sector, Rosneft Vice President Alexey Kuznetsov told journalists responding to an RBC question. According to him, this will be small and medium-sized oil and gas producing enterprises and oil refineries. The company is not planning to buy oil and gas assets outside the CIS, he added. Among the company's activities abroad are the projects in Columbia, Algeria and Kazakhstan.

As far as the mentioned 30 Russian enterprises are concerned, they probably will not be purchased this year, he specified. "These plans are for the long term perspective", the Vice President noted.
